  • As we were searching for a good place to have our lunch and in zomato this place had good rating. So we wanted to try it out.. It looks like a old house has been converted into a restaurant. The place was hot even though it had fans. In the top of the menu card it said "No white rice, no maida, no vanaspathi, no sugar, no colour, no flavour, no chemicals and cooking soda." which is really good. We ordered regular meals and panagam. Wow... I did not expect the meals to be so good. I enjoyed every part of it. Panagam was good too. My rating is purely for the taste alone.

  • This place was on for a reason, no much publicity yet has high ranking. When we visited the place was just a house which was modified for this purpose. It's a small place with walls filled with boardings and informations of the Millets they serve. Food - we ordered sambar rice (made of a millet and the best of sambar rice I have ever had) , mini meals (coconut rice, sambar rice, curd rice, rasam rice and a vegetable) all these rices were made of different Millets and were the most tastiest and filling. Tri color uthappam was made of green gram dhal, one was of sorghum, another ragi with dhal as sjdes. They were also tasty with no flaws. Even the water was different which had this typical temple theertham taste. Their motive of providing healthy foods and organic foods with a very good taste was achieved. The place is crowded as it is worth the price and also we get yummy and healthy foods! A must visit and a frequently go to place.

  • Finally got real taste of Chennai. Ambience was good, it is in home but they have decorated well. It is not noticeable from road but you can find easily. price is little on higher side but taste and quality is excellent. As name suggests every item severed hot ,not prepared unlike other meal/tiffin based restaurant.

  • Best ambience and good old foods. Tried kuli paniyaaram, red rice Dosa and elaneer dosai, everything was excellent. Elanner dosai was different of a kind. They have two chutney's , sambar and gravy. Finished it off with sukku kaapi

  • This place is very specific in the type of food it serves and it does a very good job at it. The ambience is great. It's essentially a home and considering the type of food served, it is fitting and gives an authentic feel. The price is very reasonable, cheap even consider the taste of the food. And coming to the food, almost every single dish in the menu tastes very different from what I am used to eating and makes me come back for more. I initially had reservations about the menu, but it is a must try for everyone, even if you don't like such good, as I am sure you will come to enjoy it.

  • My dinner was non greasy, healthy, tasty South Indian fare taking me back to the time fast food wasn’t heard of. We sampled a few items - of note being the maize roti, the butter dosa made from millets, pesarat or green gram dosa and the buttermilk. The thatte idli was a bit of a let down but then one doesn’t know unless one tries 😀 Please consider adding finely chopped ginger to the green gram dosa and more onions for enhanced taste. The buttermilk is to die for and I am certainly going back to this restaurant for its personalised service and healthy options served quickly and hot

  • One of my most favourite places for tiffin. Have tried almost all their items on the menu. Minus one for lack of ac but when we asked the staff they said it is intentional to add to a grama feel.

  • Tasty and Healthy Food:- The place is simple- house like setting with rooms having tables and chairs. Millets and red rice is being used for preparation of food. The food tastes superb. The restaurant doesn’t use suger, vegetable oils, added taste enhances or colours. It’s a unique experience. Restaurant was started by Mr. N. S. Krishnamoorthy, who is passionate about providing healthy food options to younger generation. I got a chance to interact with him. It was a great experience talking to him regarding his motive of starting the restaurant.
